Technical Marketing, eLearning, and more....

This is the home page for my professional activities including eLearning course development, technical marketing, and other activities.

During my day-to-day activities, including maintaining my home office environment, I run into useful and interesting hardware and software products (mostly freebies) and discover lots of tips and tricks on how they are used. For this information, I have set up the Blog section that you see on the left of the page.

Current Activities

Following up on the latest eLearning courses on Introduction to SSDs, SSD Applications, and Enterprise Storage Systems, I am working on eLearning courses on Embedded Single Board Computers, Embedded Servers and Chassis, and Embedded Operating Systems. Other courses in the queue are confidential at the moment, stay tuned. These courses will be developed using Articulate Presenter along with MS PowerPoint. I have installed the Moodle LMS on this site at elearning.mpitta.com to develop a testing and course delivery capability.

Other current projects include an SMS messaging server to process incoming SMS messages, check users against a registeration database, then look for keywords in the message to determine an appropriate response. The SMS messaging server is ActiveXperts and I am producing the custom scripts in VBScript. The initial database for demonstration of the system is Access and we will be migrating to MYSQL for the end product.

I am acting as project manager/webmaster for the Pine Ridge Association, the cooperating association for Henry W Coe State Park. We are developing a new website to replace the current coepark.org that has been in service for quite some time. I am now managing the park volunteers and staff to get the site ready for launch around the end of this year.
